Jellyfish nets are mesh barriers that are installed at public, private and hotel & resort beaches to protect the swimmers from jellyfish attacks or stings within a confined area. The barrier is made from heavy duty materials to withstand the climatic conditions and the water current of U.A.E. The floating section or the “Boom” of the barrier is made from highly visible yellow color and U.V. stabilized materials which always remain afloat in the harshest of the wave conditions. It can also be used as demarcation in the sea to mark the swimming area for the visitors. The curtain or the “Drop” of the barrier is made P.E. mesh or Geotextile depending on the water conditions of the site, and it extends to the sea bed preventing the jellyfish from entering the enclosure. The curtain section is made detachable from the floating section so that it can be removed for cleaning purposes or for storage. The standard curtain is manufactured is sections of 20 meters length and a drop of 3 meters. The Jellyfish Barriers can also be customized to the customer requirements.
