Turbidity Barriers, also known in the industry as turbidity curtains, silt barriers, or silt curtains, are floating barriers designed specifically to contain and control the dispersion of floating turbidity or silt in a water body. Often implemented in areas with marine construction, pile driving, site work (stormwater sheet flow) or dredging activities, these barrier work to keep sites in compliance for the duration of their project.
